Pierluigi Vitolo
Co-Founder
Pierluigi is the co-founder of the Firm and has extensive experience in all sectors of civil litigation – including corporate, banking and insurance litigation – in both court and arbitration proceedings, where he regularly acts as arbitrator and Chairman of the relevant panels, assisting domestic and foreign clients.
Pierluigi also advises on M&As and domestic and international contractual aspects of the different phases of investment transactions (such as shareholders’ agreements, framework agreements, contracts for the sale of equity investments) and relationships with suppliers.
Pierluigi has significant experience in bankruptcy matters, both from a financial point of view, assisting clients in investment transactions relating to the acquisition and liquidation or restructuring of companies in crisis or insolvent companies and credit purchase transactions, and assisting companies subject to or affected by bankruptcy proceedings. This experience also includes the real estate sector, which often intersects with the investment transactions referred to above.
Before founding the Firm, Pierluigi worked in Italy and abroad in leading national and international firms, and collaborated with the Chair of Commercial Law at the Università degli Studi di Salerno. He is currently teaching a module on Corporate law as part of the “Legal Clinics” course at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan.
